Experience：

Kent Lin has ever worked in the legal and credit department of Agriculture Bank of China for a long time after his graduation from law school, he has represented Agriculture Bank of China in many significant litigation with disputed loans of amounting to thousands of million, and participated in the wind-up and bankruptcy liquidations of several big companies, including Poly Southern China Limited and Guangzhou Umbrella Industrial Co., Ltd., as well as provided other legal services of asset restructuring, corporate transformation and appraisal. Kent has ample experience in due diligence works on the financial status of debtors, and he is very familiar with the operation procedures of bank loans. He has independently dealt with the disposal of a lot of non-performing loans, and is good at providing different kinds of solutions on the disposal for banks and enterprises, and also the asset restructuring.

Kent has practiced in law for many years, he specializes in commercial litigation and non-litigation matters, particularly in financial investment area. His major practice areas include commercial transactions, contract and guarantee disputes, real estate, bankruptcy and etc. Kent has ever acted on behalf of many financial institutions, e.g. banks, insurance companies and asset management companies, in a series of commercial litigation, with amounts up to billions of RMB, for example, providing full range of legal services for Guangzhou Branch of China Great Wall Asset Management Co., Ltd. in the disposal of creditor’s rights to the loans of billions of RMB; providing legal services of debt collection through litigation or non-litigation for Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited and Nanyang Commercial Bank (Hong Kong); acting as the legal counsel of PWC Hong Kong to provide legal services of litigation, asset restructuring, commercial negotiation and asset appraisal for eight US private equities, including Artarmon Investment Fund LLC; providing legal services of due diligence, restructuring, negotiation and disposal for foreign famous private equities and international investment banks in the acquisition and disposal of domestic non-performing assets; providing legal services of due diligence, investment structure planning, commercial negotiation and contract drafting for many domestic and foreign companies in their investments.

Kent is now acting as the legal counsel for Guangdong Branch of Agriculture Bank of China, Guangzhou Branch of China Great Wall Asset Management Co., Ltd., Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou Fuqiang Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. and other companies.
